Sensex slips, down 22pts; Bharti up 2%

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 109 points at 20,075, and soon touched a high of 20,096. The index has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 22 points at 19,944.

Bharti Airtel has surged nearly 2% to Rs 978. DLF and Mahindra & Mahindra have advanced over 1% each to Rs 1,024 and Rs 789, respectively.

ONGC is down nearly 1% at Rs 1,180.
