The Sensex has slipped further after a negative opening with the benchmark index shedding 99 points at 19,700 and the Nifty trading down 32 points at 5,912. The broader markets too have snapped its winning streak with the smallcap index down 0.4% and the midcap index is down 0.3%.
Among the sectoral indicves, IT index is the only one in green. Bankex and Realty down 1% each are the draggers on the sectoral chart.
The gainers on the sensex are Reliance Communications up 2% followed by Infosys, Bharti Airtel, Tata Power, Mahindra & Mahindra adding 0.6% - 1%
The losers are DLF, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and Bajaj Auto down 2% each.
