Sensex slips into red

The Sensex has slipped into red and is now at 14,751, down 35 points.

The BSE Realty index is down 2% at 3,400.

Sun Pharma has soared 3% to Rs 1,133. Tata Steel has advanced 2.5% to Rs 407.

Tata Power and TCS have added over 1.5% each to Rs 1,173 and Rs 392, respectively.

Hero Honda and Grasim are up 1% each.

Tata Motors has slipped 2.5% to Rs 306.

DLF and Jaiprakash Associates have dropped 2% each to Rs 331 and Rs 216, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Reliance Infrastructures are down 1% each.

The market breadth is positive- Out of 2,069 shares traded, 1,094 have advanced and 901 have declined so far on the BSE.
