Sensex slips into red, down 10pts

The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 10 points at 13,298.

Larsen & Toubro has rallied 3.6% to Rs 1,629, and Cipla has soared 3.3% to Rs 243. BHEL has rallied 2.4% to Rs 2,285.

HDFC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 1,600, and Grasim has added 1.2% to Rs 2,106.

ITC has slipped 3% to Rs 145. HDFC Bank has shed 2% to Rs 1,004.

Tata Motors has declined 1.6% to Rs 793. Satyam, Maruti and Bajaj Auto are down 1% each at Rs 461, Rs 822 and Rs 2,543, respectively.

Out of 2,543 stocks traded so far, 1,383 have declined, 1,071 have advanced and 89 are unchanged.
