Sensex slips into red, down 20pts

The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 20 points at 12,052.

Hindalco has surged 2% to Rs 172. Tata Steel has added 1.5% to Rs 505.

ONGC has slipped 1% to Rs 1,166. HLL and Satyam are the other notable losers.

Infosys, Cipla and HDFC are the prominent losers among the index stocks.
