Sensex slips into red, down 21pts

The Sensex touched a new all-time intra-day high of 14,211 in the opening trades this morning. The index, however, has dropped into the negative zone and is now down 21 points at 14,108.

TCS has surged 2% to Rs 1,355. Bajaj Auto has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,813.

Reliance Energy, Tata Steel, BHEL and Satyam have spurted over 1% each to Rs 540, Rs 492, Rs 2,245 and Rs 505, respectively.
