Sensex slips into red, down 39pts

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 25 points at 14,541. The index touched a high of 14,563, and then slipped into the negative zone.

The index is now down 39 points at 14,477.

Reliance Communications has plunged 3.5% to Rs 497.
