Sensex slips into red, down 79pts

The Sensex has slipped into negative zone and is now down 79 points at 13,303.

Tata Motors has slipped 2.3% to Rs 843. HDFC Bank and Dr.Reddy's have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 1,020 and Rs 788, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Satyam and BHEL have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 1,395, Rs 457 and Rs 2,255, respectively.

Maruti, Reliance Communications and Gujarat Ambuja are down 1% each to Rs 900, Rs 447 and Rs 134, respectively.

ITC has advanced over 1% to Rs 171. ONGC, Cipla and Bajaj Auto are the other prominent gainers.
