Sensex slips into red, Hindalco drops 4%

The Sensex has pared all its gains and now slipped into red to 15,225 - down 10 points.

Hindustan Unilever has zoomed 6.6% to Rs 210, and SBI has soared 5% to Rs 1,575.

Ambuja Cements has surged nearly 4% to Rs 130, and Grasim has gained 3% at Rs 2,945. ACC has added 2.4% to Rs 1,024.

Reliance Energy have moved up 2.7% to Rs 784. Maruti has added 1.7% to Rs 844.

ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro and Satyam are up around 1% each at Rs 925, Rs 2,450 and Rs 477, respectively.

Hindalco has plunged 3.6% to Rs 167, and Mahindra & Mahindra has tumbled 3.3% to Rs 750.

ITC has shed 2.4% to Rs 168. Infosys, Dr.Reddy's, Bajaj Auto and TCS are down over 1% each to Rs 1,981, Rs 635, Rs 2,294 and Rs 1,140, respectively.

Out of 2,632 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have advanced, 1,205 have declined and 55 are unchanged.
