Sensex slips into red, ONGC drags

The Sensex has now slipped into the negative zone and is down eight points at 14,394.

Tata Steel, Hero Honda, SBI and Gujarat Ambuja have advanced over 1% each to Rs 449, Rs 725, Rs 1,142 and Rs 134, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Ranbaxy, TCS and Satyam are the other major gainers.

ONGC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 892. Reliance Communications and Cipla are the other notable losers.
