Sensex slips into red; REL, Rel Comm gain

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 43 points at 13,297.

Reliance Energy (REL) has gained 2% at Rs 524. Reliance Communications (Rel Comm) has moved up 1.6% to Rs 455.

Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto have spurted over 1% each to Rs 846 and Rs 2,535, respectively.

Satyam has slipped 1.3% to Rs 453. ICICI Bank, Maruti and HDFC are down 1% each to Rs 849, Rs 913 and Rs 1,556, respectively.

Out of 2,222 stocks traded so far, 1,218 have moved up, 935 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
