Sensex slips into red; SBI, HDFC Bank drop 2%

The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down four points at 14,184.

Reliance Communications and TCS have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 454 and Rs 1,305, respectively.

Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel and Reliance are up over 1% each to Rs 461, Rs 816 and Rs 1,420, respectively.

SBI and HDFC Bank have declined over 2% each to Rs 1,082 and Rs 993, respectively. Grasim and Ranbaxy have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 2,505 and Rs 377, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's is down over 1% to Rs 721.

Out of 2,574 stocks traded so far, 1,427 have declined, 1,066 have advanced and 81 are unchanged.
