Sensex slumps 466pts; breaks 13,000-mark

The Sensex is now down 466 points at 12,995.

Reliance Communications has slumped 8.5% to Rs 400. Reliance Infrastructure has plunged 8% to Rs 721.

ICICI Bank and Maruti have tumbled around 6.5% each to Rs 588 and Rs 576, respectively.

Grasim has shed 5.8% at Rs 1,734. Jaiprakash Associates has dropped 5.5% to Rs 133.

Hindalco has slipped 5% to Rs 134. DLF and Ambuja  Cements are down around 4% each to Rs 377 and Rs 72.50.

NTPC and Satyam advanced over 1% each to Rs 153 and Rs 437, respectively.
