Sensex soars 118pts; ICICI Bank up 4%

The Sensex rallied to a new all-time intra-day high of 12,337, and is now up 118 points at the same level.

ICICI Bank has rallied over 4% to Rs 648. SBI has advanced over 3% to Rs 967, and HDFC Bank has added 1.6% to Rs 864.

Bharti Tele has surged 3.6% to Rs 424. Satyam has gained 2.7% at Rs 773.

Gujarat Ambuja has surged 3.3% to Rs 126. Maruti has gained 2.7% at Rs 964.

Hindalco has shed 2.3% to Rs 230. Dr.Reddy's has declined nearly 2% to Rs 1,650.

Ranbaxy and Grasim are down 1.4% each at Rs 514 and Rs 2,436, respectively.

Out of 2,598 stocks traded so far, 1,441 have advanced, 1,092 have declined and 65 are unchanged.
