Sensex soars 170pts; Satyam, REL lead

The Sensex is now up 170 points at 13,600.

Satyam has surged 3.3% to Rs 455. Reliance Energy has moved up 3% to 531.

ITC, Gujarat Ambuja and TCS have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 183, Rs 137 and Rs 1,142, respectively.

HDFC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,640.

Out of 2,532 stocks traded so far, 1,810 have advanced, 650 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
