Sensex soars 190pts; TCS up 7%

The Sensex touched a high of 11,738, and is now up 190 points at 11,730.

TCS has pared some of its gains, and is now up 7% at Rs 2,036. Earlier in the day, the stock had touched a high of Rs 2,099. Wipro has advanced 2.6% to Rs 555. Infosys and Satyam have added 2% each to Rs 3,296 and Rs 844, respectively.

Cipla has soared nearly 4% to Rs 685. ONGC has moved up 2.4% to Rs 1,273. Hindalco has gained 2% at Rs 204.

Grasim has surged 3% to Rs 2,310. Hero Honda and ITC are up nearly 2% each at Rs 865 and Rs 196, respectively.
