Sensex soars 250pts; Tata Steel surges 4%

The Sensex is now up 250 points at 13,106.

Tata Steel has surged 4.3% to Rs 485. SBI has soared 3.3% to Rs 980.

Infosys, Reliance Energy and Reliance Communications have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 2,042, Rs 514 and Rs 408, respectively.

TCS and Tata Motors have advanced 2.3% each to Rs 1,222 and Rs 702, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Maruti and ICICI Bank are up 2% each at Rs 962, Rs 771 and Rs 855, respectively.

Out of 2,076 stocks traded so far, 1,592 have advanced, 447 have declined and 37 are unchanged.
