Sensex soars 304pts; ICICI, Rel Comm lead

The Sensex is now up 304 points at 13,485.

ICICI Bank, Gujarat Ambuja and Reliance Communications have rallied nearly 4% each to Rs 863, Rs 139 and Rs 450, respectively.

NTPC and HDFC have moved up 3.5% each to Rs 145 and Rs 1,550, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Cipla, Bharti Airtel and Dr.Reddy's have gained nearly 3% each at Rs 531, Rs 245, Rs 616 and Rs 806, respectively.

Out of 2,495 stocks traded so far, 2,027 have advanced, 413 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
