Sensex soars 530pts; ITC zooms 9%

The Sensex is now up 530 points at 9826.

Reliance Energy has soared 13.5% to Rs 428. Reliance has zoomed 12% to Rs 924, and Grasim has surged 11.5% to Rs 1,743.

ITC and Larsen & Toubro have gained nearly 9% each at Rs 160 and Rs 2,044, respectively. NTPC is up 8.5% 109.

Out of 2,430 stocks traded so far, 1,508 have advanced, 876 have declined and 46 are unchanged.
