Sensex soars 823pts; Infosys gains 6%

The Sensex is now up 823 points at 19,859.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 10.7% to Rs 1,748. ICICI Bank has soared 7.4% to Rs 1,263, and HDFC has surged 7% to Rs 2,767.

Reliance has rallied 6.4% to Rs 2,869. Infosys has gained 5.8% at Rs 1,721.

ONGC has moved up 5% to Rs 1,243. Wipro has advanced 4.7% to Rs 462, and Hindalco has added 4.4% to Rs 213.

Out of 2,823 stocks traded so far, 2,034 have advanced, 726 have declined and 63 are unchanged.
