Sensex stands firm; up 107pts

The Sensex is now up 107 points at 13,576.

HDFC Bank has surged 4.5% (Rs 48) to Rs 1,125. SBI have advanced nearly 4% to Rs 1,224, and ICICI Bank has added 3.3% to Rs 910.

ACC has soared 4.3% (Rs 46) to Rs 1,063. Gujarat Ambuja has rallied nearly 2% to Rs 140, and Grasim has spurted over 1% to Rs 2,740.

Satyam has gained 1.4% at Rs 433. HLL, Wipro and NTPC are up over 1% each to Rs 246, Rs 554 and Rs 136, respectively.

Out of 2,499 stocks traded so far, 1,283 have advanced, 1,132 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
