Reliance Infrastructure and SBI have surged 4.7% each to Rs 810 and Rs 1,180, respectively.
Maruti, ITC and Bharti Airtel have rallied over 4% each to Rs 574, Rs 178 and Rs 746, respectively.
Hindustan Unilever has moved up 3.8% to Rs 209. ICICI Bank, Satyam and ONGC have advanced over 3% each to Rs 620, Rs 477 and Rs 904, respectively.
DLF and Grasim are up 2.7% each at Rs 426 and Rs 1,738, respectively.
HDFC has slipped 1.4% to Rs 2,027. Reliance Communicaitions and Tata Motors are down 1% each at Rs 434 and Rs 397, respectively.
