Jaiprakash Associates, Satyam, Larsen & Toubro and ACC have advanced over 2% each to Rs 149, Rs 407, Rs 2,326 and Rs 537, respectively.
BHEL and Reliance have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,396 and Rs 2,010, respectively.
HDFC Bank and Cipla are up around 1.5% each at Rs 930 and Rs 211, respectively.
Tata Motors has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 392.
DLF and Grasim have shed 1.5% each at Rs 421 and Rs 1,676, respectively.
