The Sensex is now exhibiting sideways movement and is now at 14,334, up 81 points.
Among the sectoral indices, capital goods and consumer durables indices are up around 2%, followed by realty (1.7%), auto (1.7%) and power (1.5%).
Tata Motors has rallied 5% to Rs 303. Tata Steel has advanced 4% to Rs 396.
Reliance Communications has added 3% to Rs 269. Tata Power and Mahindra & Mahindra have advanced 2% each to Rs 1,127 and Rs 733, respectively.
Sterlite has slipped further and is now down 5.5% at Rs 594. TCS and Sun Pharma have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 415 and Rs 1,196, respectively.
The market breadth is positive, out of 2,121 shares traded, 1,509 have advanced and only 549 shares have declined so far on the BSE.
