Sensex Still Stops Short Of 3,750

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex failed to retain the crucial psychological level of 3,750 for the fourth consecutive attempt today.

Profit-taking on several bluechips, including Reliance Industries, Hindustan Lever and State Bank of India, pulled the Sensex down to 3,739.76-a new 26-month closing high-after it touched 3,775.65 in intra-day trades. The index was still 13.3 points higher than Friday
