Sensex surges 225pts; Infosys gains 3%

The Sensex is now up 225 points at 13,082.

All index stocks are in positive zone.

Tata Steel has surged 3.5% to Rs 482. SBI has soared 3% to Rs 976.

Infosys has advanced 2.7% to Rs 2,045. ICICI Bank, TCS, BHEL and Reliance Communications have rallied around 2% each to Rs 856, Rs 1,218, Rs 2,406 and Rs 405, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Gujarat Ambuja and HDFC Bank have gained 1.7% each at Rs 510, Rs 108 and Rs 960, respectively.
