Sensex surges 238pts; Maruti rallies 4%

The Sensex is now up 238 points at 13,184.

Maruti has zoomed 3.8% to Rs 822, and SBI has rallied 3.5% to Rs 1,017.

HLL, BHEL, HDFC Bank and ONGC have soared 3% each to Rs 196, Rs 2,165, Rs 994 and Rs 836, respectively.

Reliance Communications, Satyam and Larsen & Toubro have advanced 2.5% each to Rs 420, Rs 463 and Rs 1,539, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja has slipped nearly 1% to Rs 106.
