Sensex surges 252pts; Satyam zooms 6%

The Sensex is now up 252 points at 13,366.

Satyam has zoomed 6% to Rs 472. TCS has surged 3.8% to Rs 1,246. Infosys and Wipro have gained around 3.5% each at Rs 2,117 and Rs 559, respectively.

Tata Steel has rallied 3% to Rs 511. SBI has advanced 2.8% to Rs 995. Bajaj Auto has added 2.5% to Rs 2,410.

Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank and Reliance Communications are up around 2% each at Rs 1,602, Rs 866 and Rs 417, respectively.

Out of 1,921 stocks traded so far, 1,409 have advanced, 465 have declined and 47 are unchanged.
