Sensex surges over 100pts at open

The Sensex opened with a huge positive gap of 58 points at 10,145. The index soon surged to touch a new all-time intra-day high of 10,190 - up 103 points. The index is now up 82 points at 10,169.

Cipla and HLL have surged 2% each to Rs 551 and Rs 229, respectively.

Tata Power, Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Auto, Bharti, ITC, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Satyam, Tata Motors and TCS are the other notable gainers among the Sensex stcoks.

There is not a single loser among the Sensex stocks.
