The Sensex is now up 629 points at 13,945.
Satyam has zoomed 9.5% to Rs 367, and DLF has soared 9% to Rs 432.
HDFC and Infosys have surged 7.5% each to Rs 2,292 and Rs 1,638, respectively.
ICICI Bank has rallied over 7% to Rs 617. TCS has gained nearly 6% at Rs 762.
Reliance, BHEL, Tata Steel and HDFC Bank have advanced 5.3% each to Rs 2,037, Rs 1,694, Rs 484 and Rs 1,286, respectively.
Reliance Communicaitons, Reliance Infrastructure and Wipro are up around 4.5% each at Rs 372, Rs 889 and Rs 415, respectively.
Ranbaxy, ONGC and NTPC are up over 4% each at Rs 356, Rs 1,041 and Rs 181, respectively.
Out of 2,546 stocks traded so far, 1,765 have advanced, 709 have declined and 72 are unchanged.
