Sensex swinging between zones

Constant bouts of buying and selling has made the Sensex gyarte zones. The index is now at 15,576, up 23 points.

The NSE Nifty is at 4,635, up nine points.

The BSE IT and FMCG indices have added over 1% each.

Reliance Communication has soared 3.5% to Rs 273 and Hero Honda has advanced 2.5% to Rs 1,576.

Hindustan Unilever and TCS are up over 1.5% each at Rs 267 and Rs 534, respectively.

Sterlite has dropped 2.5% each to Rs 639 and BHEL has slipped 2% to Rs 2,218, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel, Grasim and Jaiprakash Associates are down over 1% each.

 

The market breadth remains marginally negative, out of 2,675 shares traded, 1,412 have declined and 1,165 advanced so far on the BSE.
