Sensex trims gains, now up 19pts

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 86 points at 10,537. The index touched a high of 10,552 in the opening deals.

The index is now up 19 points 10,470.

Reliance Energy and Larsen & Toubro have rallied 2.5% each to Rs 469 and Rs 2,245, respectively.

Grasim and HDFC have added 1.5% each to Rs 1,829 and Rs 1,194, respectively.

ITC, Tata Power, Satyam, ONGC, Cipla and NTPC have gained over 1% each.

ACC has slipped over 1% to Rs 777.
