Sensex tumbles 203 pts, tech stocks slide further

Fresh bout of selling pressure in late trades has pushed the index deep into the red. The Sensex, which hovered around 190-points loss for better part, has edged lower by 203 points to 6,265. The Nifty is still at its eary noon loss of 1,964 - down 61 points.

Infosys has dropped 6.82% (Rs 143) to Rs 1,959. While Satyam has tumbled 5.56% (Rs 23) to Rs 385, Wipro is down 5.74% (Rs 37) at Rs 609.

Reliance has shed 2.58% (Rs 14) to Rs 531. While While ONGC has declined 3.27% (Rs 29) to Rs 848, ITC has lost 2.37% (Rs 33) to Rs 1,382.

SBI has dipped 3.25% (Rs 21) to Rs 624. While HDFC Bank has slumped nearly 4% (Rs 22) to Rs 540, ICICI Bank is down 2.46% (Rs 10) at Rs 402.

Cipla has scaled down 5% (Rs 13) to Rs 237. While Dr. Reddy's has declined 3.21% (Rs 24) to Rs 713, Ranbaxy has crumbled 3% (Rs 30) to Rs 955.

Bajaj has lost 1.57% (Rs 17) to Rs 1,068. While Maruti has slipped 2.15% (Rs 9) to Rs 404, Tata Motors is down 3.39% (Rs 14) at Rs 410. Hero Honda has trimmed gains to Rs 519 - up Rs 5.

Hindalco has crashed 5.13% (Rs 68) to Rs 1,261. While HDFC has shed 2.75% (Rs 20) to Rs 703, Tisco has lost 3.41% (Rs 13) to Rs 368.
