Sensex tumbles 345pts, Maruti plunges 8%

The Sensex has tumbled 345 points to 10,054.

Maruti has slumped 7.6% to Rs 679. Larsen & Toubro and Bharti have plunged 5.5% each to Rs 2,190 and Rs 346, respectively.

Hindalco, Tata Motors, Cipla and Tata Steel have dropped over 5% each to Rs 169, Rs 749, Rs 218 and Rs 491, respectively.

TCS (Rs 1,702) and Bajaj Auto (Rs 2,621) are down 4.5% each.

Out of 2,462 stocks traded so far, 1,966 have declined, 454 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
