The Sensex has slipped further down and is now at 16,742, down 256 points.
The NSE Nifty is at 4,971, down 85 points.

The Sensex slipped to a low of 16,849 and is now at 16,850, down 150 points.The NSE Nifty is at 5,011, down 43 points.
The BSE Realty index has shed 3% to 3,893.
Jaiprakash Associates has slipped 3% to Rs 230. Reliance Infrastructure and DLF have slipped 2% each to Rs 1,127 and Rs 373, respectively.
TCS, Infosys, Sterlite, SBI, Reliance Communication and ONGC are down 1% each.
On the other hand stocks like ACC, Hindalco, HDFC and Grasim are marginally up.
The market breadth is marginally negative, out of 2,705 shares traded, 1,347 have advanced and 1,273 have advanced so far on the BSE.
