Sensex up 100pts; HLL, Wipro lead

The Sensex is now up 100 points at 13,462.

HLL and Wipro have surged 3.3% each to Rs 215 and Rs 610, respectively.

Satyam and NTPC have moved up nearly 2.5% each to Rs 476 and Rs 136, respectively.

ITC, Bharti Airtel and Hindalco have advanced around 2% each to Rs 166, Rs 625 and Rs 168, respectively.

Maruti and Reliance Communications have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 896 and Rs 414, respectively.

Infosys has slipped 2% to Rs 2,126.

Out of 2,573 stocks advanced, 1,608 have advanced, 901 have declined and 64 are unchanged.
