Sensex up 101pts; Bharti Airtel slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 101 points at 16,025.

The NSE Nifty is up 27  points at 4,827.

DLF has zoomed over 6% to Rs 722, and Larsen & Toubro has soared 5.6% to Rs 2,882.

BHEL and NTPC have surged around 3% each to Rs 1,972 and Rs 191, respectively.

Reliance Energy has moved up 2.3% to Rs 1,290, and Bajaj Auto has gained 2% at Rs 2,024.

ONGC, HDFC Bank and SBI have advanced 2% each to Rs 986, Rs 1,335 and Rs 1,916, respectively.

Hindalco and Tata Steel are down 1.5% each at Rs 200 and Rs 823, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has shed 3.4% at Rs 776. Satyam and Maruti have slipped nearly 3% each to Rs 397 and Rs 868, respectively.

HDFC has dropped 2.3% to Rs 2,510, and Tata Motors is down 1% at Rs 667.
