Sensex up 102pts; HDFC, Hind Unilever up 2%

The Sensex is now up 102 points at 15,548.

Ranbaxy and Reliance Energy have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 410 and Rs 843, respectively.

ACC and Grasim have rallied over 2% each to Rs 1,107 and Rs 3,120, respectively.

HDFC, Hindustan Unilever and Tata Motors have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 2,093, Rs 217 and Rs 712, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has gained 1.7% at Rs 2,346. Ambuja Cements and BHEL are up over 1% each at Rs 140 and Rs 1,913, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped over 1% to Rs 155.

Out of 2,519 stocks traded so far, 1,555 have advanced, 919 have declined and 45 are unchanged.
