Sensex up 102pts; HLL, NTPC spurt 2%

The Sensex is now up 102 points at 13,571.

HDFC Bank has rallied over 4% (Rs 45) to Rs 1,122. SBI has surged 3.5% to Rs 1,219, and ICICI Bank has advanced 2.5% to Rs 904.

ACC has soared 4.3% (Rs 43) to Rs 1,063. Gujarat Ambuja has rallied 1.5% to Rs 139.

HLL has gained over 2% at Rs 249. NTPC, too, is up almost 2% at Rs 137.

Tata Steel, Satyam and Reliance Energy are up 1.3% each at Rs 492, Rs 433 and Rs 531, respectively.

Infosys has slipped over 1% (Rs 26) to Rs 2,197.

Out of 2,517 stocks traded so far, 1,277 have advanced, 1,149 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
