Sensex up 103pts; Bharti zooms 5%

The Sensex is now up 103 points at 19,899.

Bharti Airtel has zoomed over 5% to Rs 989. DLF has soared 3.3% to Rs 1,003.

HDFC and Infosys have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 2,896 and Rs 2,896, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications have rallied over 2% each to Rs 1,723 and Rs 734, respectively.

SBI and Ranbaxy have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 2,435 and Rs 404, respectively.

ICICI Bank has advanced 1.3% to Rs 1,215, and TCS has added 1% to Rs 1,045.

Ambuja Cements and ITC have shed 1.7% each at Rs 151 and Rs 190, respectively.

Reliance, Tata Steel and ONGC have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 2,838, Rs 837 and Rs 1,178, respectively.

Grasim is down 1% at Rs 3,640.

Out of 2,758 stocks traded so far, 1,491 have advanced, 1,223 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
