Sensex up 104pts; ICICI Bank rallies 3%

The Sensex is now up 104 points at 19,900.

Infosys has zoomed 4.3% to Rs 1,705. DLF has soared nearly 4% to Rs 1,009.

HDFC has rallied 3.6% to Rs 2,914. ICICI Bank has surged over 3% to Rs 1,236.

Bharti Airtel, Ranbaxy and HDFC Bank have advanced over 2% each to Rs 960, Rs 406 and Rs 1,720, respectively.

Reliance Communications has gained nearly 2% at Rs 732. Hindustan Unilever and TCS have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 210 and Rs 1,048, respectively.

SBI is up 1% at Rs 2,422.

ITC has dropped 2.2% to Rs 188. Reliance, Tata Steel and Hindalco have shed 1.5% each at Rs 2,830, Rs 835 and Rs 190, respectively.

BHEL and Bajaj Auto have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 2,750 and Rs 2,691, respectively.

NTPC, ACC and ONGC are down 1% each at Rs 243, Rs 1,071 and Rs 1,179, respectively.

Out of 2,895 stocks traded so far, 1,501 have declined, 1,351 have advanced and 43 are unchanged.
