Sensex up 104pts; Wipro flares up 5%

The Sensex is now up 104 points at 13,466.

Wipro has flared up 4.5% to Rs 617. HLL has surged 3.8% to Rs 216.

Maruti, Bharti Airtel, Gujarat Ambuja and Satyam have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 904, Rs 629, Rs 141 and Rs 476, respectively.

ITC and NTPC have moved up 2.3% each to Rs 167 and Rs 136, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Hindalco have gained nearly 2% each at Rs 415 and Rs 168, respectively.

Infosys has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 2,129, and Grasim is down 1% at Rs 2,759.

Out of 2,619 stocks advanced, 1,596 have advanced, 963 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
