Sensex up 105pts; breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is now up 105 points at 19,901.

Bharti Airtel has soared over 4% to Rs 979. DLF and HDFC have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 999 and Rs 2,890, respectively.

Infosys, HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications have rallied over 2% each to Rs 1,671, Rs 1,722 and Rs 734, respectively.

SBI has moved up 1.6% to Rs 2,435. Ranbaxy and ICICI Bank have gained 1.3% each at Rs 403 and Rs 1,214, respectively.

TCS is up 1% at Rs 1,045.

Ambuja Cements has shed 1.7% at Rs 151. ONGC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,174.

Reliance and ITC are down over 1% each at Rs 2,842 and Rs 191, respectively.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,702 stocks traded so far, 1,663 have advanced, 996 have declined and 43 are unchanged.
