Sensex up 105pts; Guj Amb surges 3%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 105 points at 13,100.

Gujarat Ambuja has surged nearly 3% to Rs 134. SBI and Reliance Communications have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 1,210 and Rs 413, respectively.

Reliance and ICICI Bank have advanced 2% each to Rs 1,232 and Rs 820, respectively.

HDFC, Reliance Energy, BHEL and ITC are up around 1% each.

Tata Steel has tumbled 3% to Rs 428. ONGC and Cipla have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 790 and Rs 236, respectively.

Hero Honda is down over 1% to Rs 716.

The market breadth is fairly negative - out of 2,227 stocks traded so far, 1,254 have declined, 923 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
