Sensex up 105pts; REL, ITC lead

The Sensex is now up 105 points at 12,426.

Reliance Energy and ITC have gained 2% each at Rs 473 and Rs 187, respectively.

Ranbaxy has moved up 1.8% to Rs 425. HDFC, ICICI Bank and Cipla have added 1.5% each to Rs 1,443, Rs 689 and Rs 264, respectively.

HLL, Maruti, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, Hindalco, Dr.Reddy's, Grasim and ACC are the other smart gainers.

Out of 2,415 stocks traded so far, 1,501 have advanced, 831 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
