Sensex up 105pts; RIL, Tata Steel lead

The Sensex touched a high of 10,174, and is now up 105 points at 10,147.

Reliance and Tata Steel have surged 2.5% each to Rs 1,007 and Rs 508, respectively.

HDFC, Infosys and ITC have advanced over 2% each to Rs 1,070, Rs 2,955 and Rs 169, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors and Satyam are the other smart gainers among the index stocks.

HDFC Bank and RCoVL have slipped over 1% each to Rs 752 and Rs 239, respectively.
