Sensex up 107pts; ACC soars 3%

The Sensex is now up 107 points at 12,992.

BHEL has surged 3.3% to Rs 2,165. ACC has soared nearly 3% to Rs 803.

Grasim, Larsen & Toubro and Bajaj Auto have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 2,121, Rs 1,518 and Rs 2,550, respectively.

Hindalco has gained 1.8% at Rs 130. NTPC, Gujarat Ambuja, TCS and HDFC have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 142, Rs 112, Rs 1,231 and Rs 1,588, respectively.

Reliance Communications has slipped 1.6% to Rs 416, and ITC is down 1% at Rs 153.
