Sensex up 107pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 107 points at 14,163.

HDFC Bank has surged 2.5% to Rs 1,090. TCS has spurted 2.2% to Rs 1,355.

HDFC and Bajaj Auto have moved up around 2% each to Rs 1,619 and Rs 2,821, respectively.

Grasim has gained 1.5% at Rs 2,870. Satyam and Gujarat Ambuja have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 503 and Rs 143, respectively.

Reliance, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Energy are the other major gainers.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,295 stocks traded so far, 1,684 have moved up, 570 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
