Sensex up 107pts; Tata Motors rallies 3%

The Sensex is now up 107 points at 19,891.

Reliance Energy has soared nearly 5% to Rs 1,877. Ranbaxy has surged 3.4% to Rs 429.

Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have rallied 3% each to Rs 792 and Rs 763, respectively.

NTPC and ONGC have gained 2.5% each at Rs 240 and Rs 1,251, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank have advanced over 2% each to Rs 1,021 and Rs 1,268, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has plunged 6.7% to Rs 204.

Larsen & Toubro has dropped 2% to Rs 4,234. Maruti has shed 1.6% at Rs 1,071.

Infosys and Wipro have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 1,826 and Rs 503, respectively. BHEL is down 1% at Rs 2,626.

Out of 2,780 stocks traded so far, 1,402 have advanced, 1,311 have declined and 67 are unchanged.
