Sensex up 108pts; Cipla drops 3%

The Sensex is now up 108 points at 18,621.

Tata Steel has soared 4% to Rs 952, and Hindalco has surged 3.4% to Rs 196.

Reliance Energy has rallied 2.6% to Rs 1,697. ICICI Bank and Relinace have gained 1.7% each at Rs 1,117 and Rs 2,653, respectively.

SBI and Bharti Airtel have advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 1,939 and Rs 1,001, respectively.

Cipla has plunged 3.4% to Rs 190, and ONGC has shed 2.4% at Rs 1,082.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped over 2% to Rs 617, and HDFC Bank has declined nearly 2% to Rs 1,479.

Out of 2,552 stocks traded so far, 1,592 have advanced, 869 have declined and 91 are unchanged.
